My favorite spot in LEX, I travel here from California a lot for work, and I always look forward to coming here. Awesome atmosphere, chill, real bar talk, staff is genuine and personable. There is a fire pit outside to warm up by, and the best part is Flynn, the local cat.

Great bar in a historic distillery district with many drink options and generous pours. Highly recommend checking out this whole area.

Very enjoyable, laid-back atmosphere. Dog friendly. There is a resident cat there, also. We sat out back by the creek, which was lovely, and played a hook game I had never played. A very nice fellow brought his traveling guitar with him that you had to listen through a stethoscope to hear. I really enjoyed meeting new people, the cat, and the dog. He was definitely a chick magnet. 🤣

Visited on a Tuesday. Loved the vibe of this place! Would probably be my new favorite place to chill and have a drink. I Hhad my first old fashion bourbon as well! The outside seating is very nice too.

Great 'real' bar. Awesome vibe. The night we were there had a good band, and a fall fire pit going on outside. Unbelievable.

Michael and Danny were both fantastic, good stories and were great to talk to for our first time here, will be back as much as we can, great bar and great people working.

Each visit to the break room has been fantastic and more enjoyable than the last! Hitting it up on Halloween weekend was the best accident I could've asked for! The local bands were great, the beer cheap, and the staff as friendly as ever even under the insane capacity.

Local watering hole for me - love it so much I work here now lol! I love the Distillery District and this bar helped start it all! (Tyler Childers played here before he made it big time!) Affordable prices - well poured drinks, dog friendly inside and out, fire pit on each side, covered back porch along the Elkhorn Creek, occasional live music inside and outside on the stage during the warm months. Lot of "regulars," along with "middle age vibes" seems to keep the college kids at bay. Maybe the bikers too hahah! Vintage bike/car nights in warm months, as well as other cool events! Little Fork food truck is close by at Wise Bird, and of course Goodfellas Pizza is always a good choice after some dranks!

It's Black Friday and we returned to our now traditional BF day bar. They didn't open until 2 so The Break Room was our 3rd bar of the day. Fortunately for us they still have beer and we drank that beer. It was a super nice sunny day as you can see from the photos. West 6 should sponsor the Old Guys Pub Crawl because of the artsy photo here. Young Jim is telling us useless facts we can't use anywhere, Curtis and I, began the crawl in 2023 and have only missed one week since. Paul and Roy, wowing the ladies as always. We love this place. The Break Room is a super favorite of the old guys pub crawl. First time there and we saw trash in the stream and waded in and cleaned it up. It's been nice ever since. Meeting the two Santas made me happy for weeks.
